Tommy has been a constant presence since we opened our doors in 2011. As one of our original members, we've gotten to know him pretty well and we think he's a pretty amazing guy! Coach Luke is credited for bringing him through our doors those short, four years ago, and Tommy hasn't looked back since.

"Anyone who know Tom Tom know he's just a super cool, bad ass dude! Over the last four years, Tommy has not only seen some pretty amazing performance progress, he has also added over 18 pound of lean muscle mass and dropped over 9% body fat. He's also the guy that I'm quick to introduce to new or prospective members to help break the ice and make them feel comfortable," says Coach Robert.

Tommy says, "Being at The Combine these past four years has been quite a ride. It's fun meeting new people regularly...and most memorably, meeting my girlfriend [now fiancee as of October 16th], Vicki. Those were the good ol' days when I could actually beat her in a workout.

I love my 12:30p crew; all the personalities and what each person brings to the table. Here's to the next four years and beyond. I cannot wait to see what is in store for me at The Combine!"

What is your favorite thing about CSC CrossFit? The culture and atmosphere it provides. Everyone is cool and we all share a common interest that brings everybody together.

What advice do you have for new members? Grin and bear that first month of soreness. If you can manage that, you will change in ways you've never imagined!

What major "ah ha" moments have you experienced in CrossFit? Bane mentioned "vertical hips" in a snatch warm-up one day and just like that, my snatch PR jumped up a solid 10 pounds!

What fitness accomplishment(s) are you most proud of? I am proud of sticking with the programming so long...and finally getting a bar muscle-up after a long string of attempts!

What are your three favorite movements or lifts? Snatch, jerks and handstand walks...
